[[Inori Yuitsuka]] is an 11 year old girl cursing the 5th grade who has dreamed of becoming a world-class figure skater ever since she saw her older sister skate. Even though new competitors her age are considered "too old" to seriously begin training for competitions, Inori still practices in secret at her local ice rink, despite her mother's resistance to the idea of her younger daughter entering the figure skating world, out of fear of her experience becoming similar to how her other daughter's skating career ended, in failure.

A fateful meeting introduces her one day to [[Tsukasa Akeuraiji]], a former ice dancer who gave up his dream of competitive skating, and that's struggling to make a career out of skating in any way, shape or form. Upon learning of Inori's immense natural talent for the sport, he decides to put all of his own energy and experience into becoming her coach in order to help her reach Inori's ultimate dream; becoming an Olympic gold medalist.
